NATIONAL HEALTH FUND
PRENATAL TEST PROGRAMME

You are kindly informed that at DIAGEN we perform prenatal tests in the first and second trimester within the National Health Fund Prenatal Test Programme.

The tests are performed free of charge for patients meeting at least one of the following criteria:

• aged 35 and above;
• occurrence of chromosome aberration in a previous pregnancy;
• detection of chromosome aberrations in the pregnant woman or the father of the child;
• determination of a much higher risk of giving birth to a child affected by a monogenic or multifactorial disease;
• abnormal ultrasound and/or biochemical test result during pregnancy indicating an increased risk of chromosome aberration or foetus defect.
